All our animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated, health and sociability checked. In addition to this, our animals have a 10 day health guarantee (covering any illness arising as a result of having been in our farm animals for adoptioncare), and a 21 day 'settling-in warranty'. We also offer our Friends For Life dog training program for new owners.

* Please note - Current dog owners interested in adopting an AWL companion animal must bring with them their established dog (s) for a meet and greet.  Also, If you are currently renting you will need to provide proof that you are able to have pets in your home before adoption can take place.

Sometimes we have dogs and cats come into our care that because of their breed, or for other reasons, are more in demand and sought after. We ask a higher price for these animals to help fund the extra care required by some of their less fortunate friends.

The AWL Qld does not receive Government funding for its welfare work and is therefore reliant on volunteers and the community's generosity. With the average cost being $400 per animal we rehome, the AWL Qld runs at a large loss when rehoming our animals.
