We really love our big dogs. That’s why we’ve dedicated an entire campaign to them!
We understand some of the common beliefs. Big dogs might be boisterous. They might jump up. They might sit on the cat.
But the fact is; big dogs are loyal and extremely loving. And in desperate need of homes.
Right now, we have so many big dogs waiting patiently for their new best friends to come and find them. And they are all bursting with love.
These big furbabies often wait the longest for adoption – and it’s tough on them.
Anyone who owns a big dog will tell you how incredible they are. Big dogs are just like small dogs. Only bigger! They have just as much love and enjoyment to give.
And if you choose to adopt a big dog during this campaign, we’re offering:

But remember, if you can’t adopt right now, we are always in need of big dog foster carers. Foster caring is a truly wonderful way to temporarily provide safety and comfort to a big dog in need.
And if you can’t adopt or foster right now, donations make a critical difference to big dogs in our care. They require veterinary treatment, medication, food, training and shelter. The average cost to us to care for and rehome a dog is $750. And we are only able to help the thousands of animals we do every year thanks to your support.
