Education & Training Facility Hire

The AWL's Education Centre facilities are available to outside organisations, companies and educational institutions for hire. The facilities are ideal for training and instruction purposes, seminars and small conference groups. Clients have a range of options, including the Executive Boardroom, Classrooms, Undercover Training Area and the Hydrobathing & Grooming Training Room. Clients also have the option of accessing our refuge animals for training and educational purposes (depending on uses and requirements). Executive Boardroom

The AWL's Executive Boardroom is ideal for small group conferences, meetings and medium sized seminars, presentations and screenings. The Boardroom features reverse-cycle airconditioning, a fully equipped kitchenette, white-board, lecturn, ceiling mounted data projector and pull-down screen, surround-sound speakers, flat-screenTV, DVD player, and laptop hire. The Boardroom may be set up meeting-style around the 14 seat executive boardroom table or for larger groups, up to 70 seated theatre-style.

Classrooms (Single or Merged)

The purposley built Classrooms have been designed to function as one large classroom, perfect for a presentation, seminar, screening  instruction to a large group or or partitioned off to create three small classrooms ideal for small-group group instruction. The classrooms are equipped with reverse-cycle air-condintioning, stackable chairs, sturdy work desks that can be joined or pulled apart to create different desk formations, white-boards, writing and presentation easel, ceiling mounted data projector and pull-down screen,  flat-screenTV, DVD player, and laptop hire.

Merged as one, the classrooms can seat up to 60 people, theatre style and each single classroom, set up for small group instruction around the work tables can seat up to 14 people. Other formation set ups can be arranged, please contact our Education Director to discuss your specific requirements.

Undercover Training Area

The Undercover Training Area is ideal for live-animal demonstrations and training instruction. This space is equipped with white board, ample lighting, sink and concrete flooring that is able to be fully hosed-out. It also allows easy access to the classrooms, hydrobathing training room and grassed areas (perfect for multi-group training and instruction). A data projector and screen may be set up if required. For demonstration purposes the undercover area is able to be set up to seat up to 50 people 'in-the-round' style, or for presentations, up to 100 people theatre-style.

Hydrobathing & Grooming Training Room

Our cutsom-built Hydrobathing and Grooming Room is ideal for hands-on instructional training and demonstrations. The space is equipped with 3 state-of-the-art, water efficient hydrobaths, a grooming table and equipment including an electric dryer.
