The gentle bundle of fluff needed treatment for his aliments which included a new haircut around his eyes prior to his surgery. Bear was a great patient and was kept in vet care for observation. As days passed he was given the all clear and made available for adoption.
Bear’s unfortunate new haircut made people stop and look but not many people enquired. He continued to wait patiently for a family that would love him no matter what he looked like.
Ana was looking for a new friend for her little Maltese. She had seen Bear’s photo on Facebook and decided to make a trip to the shelter to see if they would get along. She thought that Bear was adorable and loved his personality and was overcome with emotion when she saw the two play around the yard. Ana adopted Bear shortly after.
