One day School Holiday Program for children 6 – 10 years old. This program offers a range of animal related activities that are designed to be fun and hands-on, while also teaching children responsible care and respect for animals.

The one day program runs from 9.30am – 2.30pm in school holidays.

ABOUT THE DAY

Throughout the day, children work through a range of structured, hands-on activities related to the care of companion animals. There will be a combination of small and whole group activities, which includes supervised contact time with our animals. They will also have the opportunity to get a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of AWLQ’s Gold Coast Rehoming Centre.

The children involved with the Animal Antics Course will receive a ‘take-home’ pack at the end of the day that includes a sticker, colouring sheets and magazines. The number of children in the program is capped at a maximum of 30 per day, to allow for small group activities.

Bookings are essential! To enrol in the Animal Antics Activities Day, simply find which dates are available and follow the prompts to register. The program is extremely popular, so we recommend getting in as early as possible to avoid disappointment!

COST: $50 per child (6-10 years)
