Meet Postman Pat! When Postman Pat was around 6 weeks old, he was found abandoned in a postbox. He was rescued from the large red tin which is how he got his name Postman Pat (or Pat for short). 📮😺 It hasn't all been rocky for Pat though, he has been living it up with 2 other cats, 2 dogs, and a couple of young children for the last year of his life. Unfortunately, his current home was unable to keep him so he has found his way to the AWLQ at Willawong looking for a new home to call his own. Pat can be a little shy to begin but once he settles, he starts to show his true colours. Pat loves to lay on his people when it comes to bedtime or just whenever he sees someone laying down. He would be okay to live with a female cat however, he hasn't been too fond of male cats. Pat LOVES dogs. He was raised alongside a border collie and they had been the best of friends. He was more in love with the dog than he was with the other cats. Pat is not too interested in toys but loves a cat tree, window hammock, and little cat caves or other hidey holes (he is a BIG fan of boxes). He enjoys being able to explore new heights in the home and will always investigate a cupboard if the door is left open. He knows how to open sliding cupboard doors and enjoys having a nap in the top corner (if he can get to it). Pat isn't a huge fan of being picked up and cuddled but will approach his person when he wants attention. If you think Postman Pat would be the perfect fit in your home, please come down to the AWLQ at Willawong to meet him!
