Roxy the Husky’s happy ever after

I lost my little girl MIsty Blue ( Australian Blue Cattle) in 2006 and we had been good friends for 12 years, when living in Brisbane.

I missed her dearly she was and always will have that Special Place in My Heart.

I bought a Holden Ute so my next dog could go more places with me…especially the Beach.
I was moving to the Gold Coast in the New Year, so I visited the Magical place of the AWL and met my new Mate …Syrus (Australian Red Kelpie ) .
After visiting and noting all the wonderful work AWL does every day .. I also became a Volunteer.. what a Honor.

OK, after 3 years of working with the AWL, one of the very nice ladies ( staff ) suggested I could assist the League by caring for a Foster, as Christmas time is a very busy time for them.

So, some after consideration and thinking why not..it’s a great cause and a playmate for my little mate.
Syrus and I visited the shelter and we met Roxy ( a Siberian Husky ) Meet and Greet and Love at first sight for the both of them. After nearly 4 months I could in NO WAY !! …take Roxy back to AWL, as our little Family was a Very Happy one.

After a few escapes to the Wonderful World outside the fence by herself … Roxy will and forever will be a member of our Family..

We go for 2 walks a day and She has her own Pool.. We also have to have 3 chairs as, they must have their own.. and sometimes want the same chair…

They both Bless my Life everyday… and our Family Thanks the Animal Welfare for the Two Gifts they gave us…I now Believe … There are Angels.. Angels Working to better our Lives (AWL).. God Bless all the wonderful people.
