I sought to adopt a kitten when my own cat, Mischief became notably sad that his former companion had moved on. Mischief was sulky and would meow sadly at space and I thought getting a young kitten would liven his spirits. I came to AWLQ with a little female in mind with a preference for a little Tortie. Little did I know that when I got there, a beautiful fluffy little ginger boy would very vocally demand my attention.
At AWLQ, he was known as Bud, but here, he is known as Munchkin. Munchkin is a very vocal and very affectionate little boy, and has a very happy go-lucky attitude. He gets along really well with all other people and cats that he has met and is generally a lovely boy.
When he first moved in, Mischief didn’t know what to make of him. But within a week they were the best of friends, playing together and sleeping together. I think little Munchkin is definitely the boss though and pushes Mischief around a bit, but our older boy has the grace to not make a fuss over it.
Now that winter is coming, Munchkin shares the bed with my partner and I and his friend and older brother, Mischief. They’re pretty inseperable and I am glad AWLQ saved Bud so that he could enrich the lives of the animals and humans in my household.
