You don’t wear a jumper in summer so spare a thought for long haired dogs and cats…
Cats shed a great deal of fur in summer and eat a lot of it while grooming themselves. The result can be hairballs which go down and come back up again.
To ensure your cat and dog are comfortable this summer get a professional groomer to give them a haircut. If that’s not possible make sure they are in cool, shaded areas with plenty of clean drinking water options.
And remember the brush is also your pets’ best friend. Regular brushing can make all the difference to your pets’ health and the hairballs you find around the house.
