Learn more about Phoebe
Phoebe is a wonderful and affectionate pup who would thrive in a loving and busy home. Phoebe is a calm and sweet dog who forms strong bonds with her people. She’s quick to bond and loves to follow you around the house, showing her affection and loyalty.
Phoebe has been in a foster home with 3 young children, 2 cats, and 2 dogs, so she is comfortable around both kids and other pets. She particularly enjoyed playing with a border collie and would likely do well in a home with other dogs. Her positive interactions with cats also suggest that she could easily adapt to a multi-pet household.
Phoebe sleeps in a crate at bedtime, which helps her feel secure and comfortable. Crate training can also make transitions easier for her in a new home.
While Phoebe doesn’t enjoy being picked up, she’s getting better every day. It’s likely she would prefer being approached gently and may need some time to get fully comfortable with being held, but with patience, she’ll likely grow more relaxed.
Phoebe would be a great companion for a family with children, and other pets, and a gentle approach to handling her. She’s a loving dog who would appreciate a calm, affectionate environment where she can feel safe and continue to thrive.
