Quails are lovely little birds who need humans who understand their needs or have had Quails in the past. They need a suitable enclosure and the correct diet to be happy and healthy. They are ground dwellers and it is essential that are provided a good environment that makes them feel safe and secure. Fuji would love lots of hidey holes, natural substrate such as leaves, hay, or chaff so they can forage and display their natural behaviour. They are very social birds and will need a home large enough to house multiple quail so please ensure you already have another quail for Fuji to hang out with or are willing to adopt a friend!
