My name is Muffin!

My journey to find my forever home hasn’t been the easiest. When I first arrived here at the shelter, my rough time on the streets left me a little uncertain as to how to trust people but thanks to my foster mum and my new friends here at AWLQ, I have learnt how to be my best self and I’m now ready to put myself out there in order to find my forever family.

The dedication and love of my foster family, as well as their patience and willingness to give me space when I needed it, went a long way in helping me discover what a lovable and sassy girl I really am. I’m still a cat who very much knows what she wants and, more importantly, what she doesn’t. While I absolutely adores pats, I do tend to get overexcited, which can lead to my spicier nature returning at times. Because of this, it’s important that I am also given my space when I need it so that I can continue being the food-craving, attention-loving sweetheart that I truly am.

If you’re looking for a lap-cat, then I’m probably not the cat for you, but I’m a fantastic companion for anyone who wants their house to be that little bit less empty. I’m not overly fond of being picked up and rather will approach you when I want attention. While I’ve got a lot of love to give, I’m quite the independent and cheeky cat at times. For this reason, I would really appreciate my new family consisting only of humans old enough to understand my need for independence. I would be open to sharing my household with another social feline, provided introductions are nice and slow.
