Meet Cardi, a sweet and social young girl ready to find her forever family! Cardi is a playful and excitable pup, full of energy so she may be a bit too much for very young children. If you have little ones at home, we recommend bringing them in to meet Cardi during the adoption process to ensure it’s a good fit.

Cardi has shown herself to be social and playful with other dogs in the shelter during dog meets, and we’d love for her to meet any other dogs in the home to make sure they’ll get along. While Cardi does well in dog interactions, she has shown some barrier reactivity towards other dogs when in a home setting, so it’s important that she doesn’t practice or reinforce this behaviour & her new home doesn’t give her access to see the neighbourhood foot traffic.

Cardi is young, active, and full of energy, so she’ll thrive in a home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation. She’ll need a family that’s committed to continuing her training and offering her a variety of enrichment to keep her engaged.
