They are great backyard pets that will sound an alarm when a snake is near and naturally eat lots of pets such as ticks. They make very cute noises and won't disturb your gardens. They live in large flocks so multiple is a must and, they like to roost up high so good housing is a priority. Do some research into owning guinea fowl before adopting, but you could have your very own dinosaur roaming your property and getting rid of lots of nasty bugs.
