CHLOE’S STORY

After losing one of our dogs after a long battle with pancreatitis, and almost losing the other one to a ruptured uterus, i never thought I would get another dog. Riley a blue heeler who is deaf, fretted so much she became depressed. I had seen Chloe on the AWL web site and as we were only renting at the time, I said as soon as we get our own place I want to get Chloe, 9 months later we bought our own house and I immediately looked for her on the AWL site, I couldn’t believe she was still there, it was lucky for us and Chloe as she had been surrended at 4 months of age on a must be rehomed order, we got her at 13 months and she is the new best friend of Riley, they love each other to bits and it has given Riley a new lease on life..So I just want to say thankyou to AWL Coombabah, and AWL Stapylton for taking such good care of Chloe before we adopted her..And a special thankyou to the Vet staff for the care and compassion you showed for Sasha now deceased, and Riley for the immediate care she recived when her uterus ruptured, a special thanks to the 2 vet nurses who carried her in on a stretcher.. Thankyou, you are all very special people..
