Doggies Day Out with CSI Club Southport

It was a day celebrating all things dogs with our friends and long-term supporters CSI Club Southport.

CSI Club Southport has been involved in supporting numerous local charities across South East Queensland and, for the past several years, has connected with the work of Animal Welfare League Queensland and the animals we support in finding their new homes.

With so many of their club members, staff and board members who are loyal pet owners and animal lovers, the club decided to add an extra layer to their support with a special event dedicated to the four-legged family members with their Doggies Day Out.  Hosted in support of Animal Welfare League Queensland, the event was a morning filled with lots of puppy love and family fun while spreading awareness of the animals in our care.

In addition to all of the festivities of the event, the club hosted a collection drive for some of our most needed items and finished the day off by presenting an extremely generous donation of $12,000, which will go towards a new hydrobath and vet equipment for our Gold Coast Animal Rehoming Shelter.

Support like this from businesses and their community makes a huge difference to our organisation in being able to not only care for the animals but also enabling us to upgrade resources and equipment across all of our rehoming centres and vet clinics, and we sincerely thank CSI Club Southport with this impactful gesture of support.
