VET REFERRAL SYSTEM
Our referral system is designed to ensure that every pet receives the care they need, regardless of their owner’s financial situation.
By working with the community, local organisations, and veterinary clinics, we aim to provide comprehensive support to our community.
What We Can Help With
- We offer support for emergency and life-threatening veterinary care. We are unable to provide support for routine and general preventative care costs. Payment support is only available to eligible persons who are unable to secure funds for their pet’s treatment.
- Our clinics are unattended overnight and are unable to accept critical patients past 4pm. If you have a critical patient that needs overnight monitoring, please keep the patient at your hospital for overnight care and organise the referral to our clinics on the next business day.
- We are a general practice clinic and although we offer a wide range of treatment options, there may be some conditions or treatments that we cannot assist with. Please consider the treatment plan, recommendations, and prognosis suitability prior to referral. If you are unsure if we can assist and would like to discuss further, please contact our team.
How It Works
- Referral Submission: If you or someone you know needs financial assistance for their pet’s medical care, you can submit a referral form for review.
- Eligibility Review: Our team will review the referral to determine eligibility based on financial need and urgency of care.
- Support Allocation: Eligible applicants will receive support through a payment agreement or direct financial assistance.
Submit a Referral
To submit a referral, please fill out our referral form. This will include an option to attach the patient history. Please complete this step or contact our team prior to directing the client to attend our clinic. If an appointment or prior contact is not made, we may not be able to accept the appointment.
